Healthy Kids Survey

Healthy Kids Survey

The California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) is a service provided by the California Department of Education (CDE) to districts that wish to collect information on the health risks and resilience of their students. These reports provide a summary of the survey's purpose and key findings relating to substance use, violence and safety, and poor physical health. While we strive to identify and address student problems, equally important is the percent of students who did not report them. We should not lose sight of the positive behaviors and attitudes of most youth in our community. The CHKS provides data to do this.

The District's 2008/09 and 2009/10 Healthy Kids Survey Results are posted below, along with the 2009/10 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th grade survey questions.
