Closure of California High School Pedestrian Bridge

As part of the SRVUSD's ongoing focus on student safety, the pedestrian bridge near California High School has been closed for renovation. We had planned to have the needed repairs complete before the start of the school year, however, there were manufacturing delays outside of the District’s control that have pushed the timeline to August.

The bridge will remain closed through August with the goal of reopening in early September. We recognize that this bridge is heavily utilized by the Cal High community, but your safety is our first priority. We will get this work completed as soon as we can and will restore pedestrian access as usual. Until that time, we thank you for your patience as we make these needed repairs.
