California High School Update

Dear SRVUSD Staff and Families,

Today was another great day at California High School. We are grateful to the San Ramon Police for having an increased presence at the school. While we recognize that the community would like more details regarding the threat that was made, please understand that it is still an active San Ramon Police investigation. Police are attempting to identify the individual who made the threat and we do not want to compromise their investigation.

We can share with you that the threat did specifically name today, 9/6, as the targeted date. We have no reason to believe that this unverified threat extends beyond today, but to ensure that staff and students feel safe, San Ramon Police will have an increased presence at Cal High again tomorrow.

Please continue to talk to your students about sharing suspicious information with an adult. “If you see something, or know something, say something.” By sharing information and being vigilant, we will keep our campus safe. If you or your student has any information to report about this threat, please contact San Ramon Police at 925-973-2779. If you have questions, please contact Communications@srvusd.net.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Graswich

Director of Communications and Community Relations
