SRVUSD to require all adult volunteers chaperoning overnight trips to be fingerprinted
As an additional student safety measure, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District is now requiring all volunteers who chaperone on overnight school-sponsored trips to be fingerprinted. *Note – this only applies to overnight trips. During the first year of this new requirement, the District will be paying the cost of the fingerprinting.
Volunteers who wish to chaperone any overnight trips should come to the SRVUSD Human Resources Office (699 Old Orchard Drive, Danville) and pick up a Live Scan form and a list of local fingerprint locations. The school principal is notified when fingerprints have cleared.
Fingerprinting results can take up to thirty (30) days, so please plan accordingly!
