Professional Development/School Discipline Training

District Administrators and staff attend several trainings each year which focus on the topic of safe schools and student safety.  Most recently district staff have benefitted from workshops sponsored by educational legal firms such as Danis, Wolliver, and Kelly.  These workshops keep our district staff appraised of the latest educational codes that address school and student safety, and site responsibility.  Additionally the District Climate Committee has sponsored trainings and presentations by the local chapter of the Anti-Defamation League and PFLAG.

Sexual Harassment Training – Each year, every SRVUSD management employee undergoes training on sexual harassment. This training includes information around current laws pertaining to Sexual Harassment.

Safe Schools Tipline

To report any acts of school violence or vandalism, students, staff members, parents and community members are encouraged to call the district's anonymous Tipline.

(925) 820-5632

Callers can leave an anonymous message or have their call returned during business hours, Monday through Friday.
For those who feel threatened or know of someone who feels threatened by violence, the Contra Costa Crisis Center has set up a hotline with access to counselors 7 days a week. 1-800-863-7600.
