Del Amigo is a small alternative school in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District which also meets the requirements of a continuation high school. It was started in September of 1969 with an initial enrollment of nineteen students and has grown to currently house 100 students. Del Amigo offers the required subjects for a high school diploma as determined by the state and by the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
