Site Information

 Diablo Vista Middle School was established in 2000, and is located on Camino Tassajara, south of Crow Canyon Rd. The school houses ove 800 students (6th - 8th grade). Diablo Vista Middle School is on a modified block schedule, with students attending seven periods, Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday and Thursday are block days. Thursday afternoon Diablo Vista Middle School has an 84 minute Enrichment period (E-periods), which is a block of time where the students attend alternate classes each semester. These classes include the Chess Club, Smart Cooking, Community Service, Life Skills, Public Speaking, Dance, Passport around the World, Literary magazine, Walking for Fitness, Quilting, Cross-stitching, Shakespeare, Readers Theater, Literature and Film. The Leadership, Enrichment periods and the PTSA are all very active in the community.
