Welcome to Dougherty Valley High School (DVHS) , where we are in our fifth year of traditions in excellence.  School construction of this newest high school in the district was funded by Shapell Industries of Northern California, and Windemere BLC, the two homebuiilders involved in development of the Dougherty Valley area of San Ramon.

We opened our school in 2007 with grades 9 and 10 and transitioned to a comprehensive, 4-year high school with an enrollment of approximately 2,000.  Dougherty Valley High School offers students a challenging and rigorous standards-based curriculum and high expectations. Students and parents are encouraged to participate in the excellent program opportunities available.
