Warehouse Goes Green

BEGINNING Monday, January 6, 2014 – packing slips/delivery documents for ALL SITES and Service Departments (ie. Accounting, Technology, Transportation, Child Nutrition, Ed Center, etc.)  will be also be available in a digital file called “Warehouse folder”.  This will allow anyone with the appropriate permission to view and retrieve a PDF copy of packing slip or any other pertinent receiving document that arrived with the PO delivery.   The “original” delivery document will remain with the box/envelope/order. Current practice of multiple photo copying these documents for distribution will be discontinued.  Scanning these documents allows the Warehouse practice a much efficient and “greener receiving” process.
